Launch of London CF Young Professionals

The evening of Monday 7th March saw the hugely successful launch of the newly devised London CF Young Professionals which is headed by the London CF YP Officer Michael Bull. The launch was hosted at the Carlton Club in Piccadilly and was sold out days before the event. Guest speaker the Rt Hon David Willetts MP delivered a stimulating speech followed by questions from the assmbled guests. The event was hosted in partnership with the Junior Chamber of Commerce in an effort to expand the membership of Conservative Future and to involve other groups representing young professionals. London CF Young Professionals is a networking group aimed at reaching out both to those CF members preparing for the world of work or already in it as well as those non-party members who are interested in finding out more about the Government’s stance on matters affecting working life. This event, coming in the wake of the London CF Team winning a National Excellence Award for Membership, yet again hit the right tone for the quality of event CF aims to offer its members.

The Rt Hon David Willetts MP said that he left feeling very positive about the future direction of Conservative Young Professionals and that CF was taking the steps in the right direction to engage with new members. We at London CF look forward to many more successful Young Professionals events and many more collaborations.
