With 3 Weeks to Go North-East London CF Backs Boris in Chingford with Boris
This Saturday in Chingford was a reminder as to why Boris Johnson should return as Mayor of London on May 4.
The Mayor attended the opening of the South Chingford Community Library where he thanked all those who made the establishment of the library possible. Run by volunteers, the South Chingford Community Library will provide an important local resource following the closure of the Council-run library on Hall Lane.
Boris then hit the streets of Chingford to discuss his campaign with local Chingford residents. Greeted by smiles and hand-shakes, the residents were excited to meet our Mayor and pledged their support in the forthcoming election.
Joined by the heaving Boris Battlebus and GLA Candidate Naomi Newstead, NE London CF activists delivered thousands of leaflets to over two wards in the constituency. The leaflet makes clear how all voters have a clear choice in this election and by voting for Boris, London will be better off.
Harriet Holmes, the Area Chairman for North East London said, “We had a truly effective and enjoyable day in Chingford. There were smiles on the faces of activists and residents alike during Mayor Boris’ visit and as we delivered literature to over two wards. For the next couple of weeks, the continued support of every activist will be vital to ensure as many Chingford residents get out and vote for Boris. Bring Boris Back on May 4”.
Thanks to all those who made this Saturday such a roaring success, in particular:
CF Women
Nabil Najjar
Luke Springthorpe
Naomi Newstead, GLA Candidate for North East London
A special thanks to local Councillor Alan Siggers who made sure everything ran smoothly.
