Deputy-Chairman Membership 2010-2011
Ali has been involved in many areas of politics. After working for George Osborne on economic policy development, Ali ran in Chadwell during the May 2010 elections where he cut the needed swing by almost half. He is also currently Vice-Chairman of City Future and on the executive committee of the Conservative Muslim Forum.
Over the last few years, Ali has worked in the management consulting and finance sector, and is also the Director of a private company – Four Limited.
He graduated from Cambridge University, where he studied Mathematics and Computer Science. Whilst at Cambridge, Ali was on the Cambridge Union committee and was a Director of Varsity Newspaper. Outside of politics, Ali is also Treasurer of the Oxbridge Muslim Alumni. Ali’s involvements have also been:
- Vice-Chairman of City Future. On committee 3.5 years
- Executive Committee Member of Conservative Muslim Forum. On committee for 3 years
- Ran for Chadwell (LB of Redbridge Council) in May 2010
- Policy Advisor to George Osborne
Ali left the team after serving a full year term in order to concentrate on his career having been a great asset to London CF.
